Green events

As part of our “Gorgeous Goes Green” campaign we came across a short article about “How to hold a green event” in the Motivate title Middle East MICE & Events – Spring issue. Green events are still thought of as something of a rarity and strange tree-hugger phenomenon, however the Gorgeous team feels quite passionate about it.

Below are five aspects of ‘how to hold a green event’ and we have taken the liberty of adding some additional thoughts to it. Try to find an angle to align your event, company or brand with these aspects and make it part of your marketing strategy and you will soon find that it is rewarding, not only for yourself, your company and your brand, but obviously the environment as well.

Gorgeous goes Green!

Thursday, November 27th, 2008

This is the first of a series of posts about something close to our hearts - the environment and the world we live in.

Our intention is to convey the facts about carbon footprints, global warming and other important environmental issues. We can then see what we (Gorgeous and you - our clients) can do to make a difference. It is easier than one might think, it just requires the knowledge of the facts and the willingness to get involved.

As this program develops you may want to get involved and hep us. If this is the case, please email us at green@gorgeous-creative.com - we’d love to hear from you.
